大理大學(xué)公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院前身為1983年成立的大理醫(yī)學(xué)院衛(wèi)生學(xué)教研室。2002年開始招收預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)本科生,2003年與云南省地方病防治所合作共建“預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)系”,2004年更名為“公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院”,并開啟碩士研究生教育。學(xué)院現(xiàn)有預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)、衛(wèi)生檢驗(yàn)與檢疫、食品質(zhì)量與安全三個(gè)本科專業(yè),其中預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)和衛(wèi)生檢驗(yàn)與檢疫專業(yè)為省級一流本科建設(shè)專業(yè)。2024年,學(xué)院開始招收預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)留學(xué)生。
學(xué)院設(shè)有四辦、團(tuán)委、組織員辦以及7個(gè)黨支部,擁有流行病與衛(wèi)生統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)、勞動(dòng)與環(huán)境衛(wèi)生學(xué)、營養(yǎng)與食品衛(wèi)生學(xué)等5個(gè)教研室和1個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)中心。現(xiàn)有教職員工46人,其中專任教師39人,正高級職稱6人,副高級職稱13人,博士21人。學(xué)院教師中有多人入選云南省“萬人計(jì)劃”、云南省中青年學(xué)術(shù)和技術(shù)帶頭人等人才項(xiàng)目。
學(xué)院擁有公共衛(wèi)生與預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)一級學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)和公共衛(wèi)生碩士(MPH)學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn),該學(xué)科曾獲“十二五”省級優(yōu)勢特色重點(diǎn)學(xué)科(群)建設(shè)。2022年,學(xué)院獲批中南大學(xué)+大理大學(xué)高水平公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院建設(shè)項(xiàng)目。2024年,學(xué)院被云南省政府列為推動(dòng)云南省疾病預(yù)防控制事業(yè)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的人才培養(yǎng)高校,并成為云南省預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)常務(wù)理事單位。
學(xué)院擁有多個(gè)教學(xué)科研平臺(tái),包括“云南省高校重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室”“云南省高校創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)”“云南省院士專家工作站”“上海浦東-大理衛(wèi)生發(fā)展研究中心”“突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件應(yīng)急處置實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)平臺(tái)”“P2實(shí)驗(yàn)室”和“大理大學(xué)預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)研究所”等。此外,學(xué)院還擁有3個(gè)校級創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)、1個(gè)省級研究生聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新基地、2個(gè)省級一流本科專業(yè)建設(shè)點(diǎn)、4門省級一流本科課程、2個(gè)省級研究生導(dǎo)師團(tuán)隊(duì)、3項(xiàng)省級專業(yè)學(xué)位研究生教學(xué)案例庫建設(shè)項(xiàng)目和2門省級研究生優(yōu)質(zhì)課程。
近5年,學(xué)院獲得國家基金項(xiàng)目15項(xiàng),其中包括NSFC-云南聯(lián)合基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng)。近兩年,學(xué)院在國家級教師教學(xué)比賽和學(xué)生專業(yè)技能競賽中獲得10余項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。
學(xué)院以解決云南邊疆民族地區(qū)公共衛(wèi)生安全問題為目標(biāo),聚焦新發(fā)、再發(fā)和高發(fā)疾病與環(huán)境危害防控,形成了三個(gè)特色優(yōu)勢方向:(1)流行病與衛(wèi)生統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué),主要研究云南省高發(fā)疾病(如鼠疫、艾滋病等)的傳播機(jī)制和防控策略;(2)營養(yǎng)與食品衛(wèi)生學(xué),圍繞滇西高原食品營養(yǎng)與健康開展研究,推動(dòng)特色資源產(chǎn)品開發(fā);(3)衛(wèi)生檢驗(yàn)學(xué),以病毒致病性為研究特色,首次發(fā)現(xiàn)并命名瀘西病毒、福貢病毒等。
學(xué)院至今共招收公共衛(wèi)生人才5088名,其中本科生4409名,研究生679名,已畢業(yè)公共衛(wèi)生人才3660名。80%的畢業(yè)生在云南省邊疆民族地區(qū)工作,為當(dāng)?shù)毓残l(wèi)生安全提供了重要的人才支持。
目前,在校生1426人,其中本科生 1173人(留學(xué)本科生26人),研究生 253 人。
Introduction to the School of Public Health
The School of Public Health of Dali University was formerly known as the Department of Hygiene of Dali Medical College, which was established in 1983. In 2002, it began to recruit undergraduate students majoring in preventive medicine; and in 2003, it cooperated with the Yunnan Provincial Institute of Endemic Disease Prevention and Control to establish the "Department of Preventive Medicine", which was renamed the "School of Public Health" in 2004 and started master's education. Currently, the school has 3 undergraduate majors: Preventive Medicine, Health Inspection and Quarantine, and Food Quality and Safety. Among them, the majors of Preventive Medicine and Health Inspection and Quarantine are provincial first-class undergraduate construction majors. In 2024, the school began to recruit international students majoring in Preventive Medicine.
The school has 4 administrative offices, a Youth League Committee, an Organization Officer's Office, and 7 Party branches. It has 5 teaching and research departments, including Epidemiology and Health Statistics, Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, etc., along with 1 Experimental Teaching Center. At present, there are 46 faculty members, including 39 full-time teachers of whom 6 with senior professional titles, 13 with associate senior professional titles, and 21 with doctorate degrees. Many teachers in the school have been selected into talent projects such as the "Ten Thousand Talents Program" in Yunnan Province and the Young and Middle-aged Academic and Technical Leaders in Yunnan Province.
The school has the right to confer master's degrees in the first-level discipline of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and Master of Public Health (MPH), which has been awarded the construction of the provincial advantageous and characteristic key discipline (group) during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period. In 2022, the school was approved for the project of building a high-level School of Public Health jointly by Central South University and Dali University. In 2024, the school was listed by the Yunnan Provincial Government as one of universities for cultivating talents to promote the high-quality development of disease prevention and control in Yunnan Province, and it became a standing director unit of the Yunnan Preventive Medicine Association.
The school has multiple teaching and research platforms, including the "Key Laboratory of Universities in Yunnan Province", the "Innovation Team of Universities in Yunnan Province", the "Workstation of Academicians / Experts in Yunnan Province", the "Shanghai Pudong-Dali Health Development Research Center", the "Experimental Teaching Platform for Emergency Response to Public Health Emergencies", the "P2 (Biosafety Level-2, BSL-2) Laboratory", and the "Institute of Preventive Medicine of Dali University", etc. In addition, the school also has 3 university-level innovation teams, 1 provincial-level joint training innovation base for postgraduate students, 2 provincial first-class construction sites of undergraduate majors, 4 provincial first-class undergraduate courses, 2 provincial-level graduate supervisor teams, 3 provincial-level library construction projects of teaching cases for professional degrees, and 2 provincial-level high-quality postgraduate courses.
In the past five years, the school has been approved 15 research projects supported by national funds, including 1 key project of the NSFC-Yunnan Joint Fund. In the past two years, the school has won more than 10 awards in national teaching competitions for teachers and professional skills competitions for students.
Aiming to solve the public health and safety problems in the border ethnic minority areas of Yunnan, the school focuses on the prevention and control of emerging, re-emerging, and high-incidence diseases and environmental hazards, and has formed three characteristic and advantageous directions: (1) Epidemiology and Health Statistics, mainly studying the transmission mechanisms of high-incidence diseases in Yunnan Province (such as plague, AIDS, etc.) and their prevention and control strategies; (2) Nutrition and Food Hygiene, conducting research around food nutrition and health in the western Yunnan Plateau to promote the research and development of characteristic resource products; (3) Health Inspection, with the pathogenicity of viruses as the research feature, and for the first time discovering and naming the Luxi Virus, Fugong Virus, etc.
The school has enrolled a total of 5,088 public health talents up to date, including 4,409 undergraduate students and 679 postgraduate students. Among them, 3,660 have graduated, and 80% of the graduates work in the ethnic minority areas of the border regions in Yunnan Province, providing important talent support for local public health and security.
Currently, there are 1,426 students on campus, including 1,173 undergraduate students (26 of them are international students) and 253 postgraduate students.
